Computer-aided styling (known as CAS or digital sculpting) is concerned primarily with Class A surfaces, or the stylized surfaces that users can see and touch. These are some of the most highly scrutinized CAD surfaces and require both tools and skills not typical of product design. I really enjoy doing this a lot.
What I like about surface design on cars, is that with these softwares you can make the light and shadow reflections look the way you want them to. Sometimes we are lucky enough to have accidental improvements, but when you can clearly see what you have in your sketches in the design, it is very gratifying.
